How does one collect and distribute a vast range of delicious and fresh, seasonal and off-seasonal produce with a very short shelf life, in a timely, efficient and sanitary manner – worldwide? Product freshness is more critical than ever due to increased customer expectations as consumers are now more educated about varying inventory options available to them.
Meet SA360, a logistics partner who has made it their core mission to go above and beyond the sourcing and distribution of high quality, fresh fruits and vegetables. With a committed team of experts, the fruit (and vegetable) exporter connects mainly with South African farmers and producers and helps to distribute their fresh produce to resellers located all over the world.
For the new launch we were tasked to come up with a brand that is universally recognisable and would work across multiple countries and languages. Furthermore, we took inspiration from the high value placed onto the core product to be distributed and treated it as royalty, almost as if every single banana, pineapple and mango was a priceless golden piece of art, to be handled with great care and affection.
Besides the new logo, a corporate identity in the form of business cards, letterheads and business stationary was designed as well as email signature artwork and digital banners. Further applications such as vehicle branding and business equipment branding were explored to demonstrate how the brand would translate into real life examples. A minimalist icon set and stamp were added to the corporate manual at a later stage.
